Size: Standard adult, unisex.
This hood is made in a standard adult size. We recommend contacting us before ordering if you are unsure about the fit or would like to check whether it will sit comfortably around your head, neck, and shoulders.
Please take your planned costume layers into account when checking the fit. Our team will be happy to help with sizing questions before you place your order.
Usually, production takes 7–21 working days, depending on the current workshop queue. Custom color combinations or other agreed modifications may require additional time, which will be confirmed before production.
Each hood is individually cut, sewn, and finished in our workshop. Preparing the outer fabric, assembling the lining, and checking the finished piece all take time and care, so we appreciate your patience.

The Medieval Liripipe Hood is an original design of our workshop, inspired by the traditional gugel silhouette and its distinctive elongated tail. The combination of blue outer fabric and dark red lining gives the piece a vivid contrast suited to medieval clothing and fantasy character costumes.
The design features a roomy hood, a wide shoulder cape, and a long liripipe that trails down the back. The cape flares gently over the shoulders, upper chest, and back, while contrasting stitching follows its lower edge. The dark red lining becomes a visible part of the design when the hood opening is turned back or the hood is lowered around the neck.
Its flowing shape pairs naturally with tunics, robes, leather accessories, and layered outfits. Worn as a LARP cowl or as part of a Renaissance faire costume, it adds a recognizable medieval silhouette without requiring a full cloak.

Materials:
Outer Layer — Cashmere-Style Fabric:
- 96% polyester;
- 4% elastane.
Lining — Linen Blend Fabric:
- 45% linen;
- 50% viscose;
- 5% elastane.
The outer layer is a polyester-elastane fabric with a cashmere-style finish. A separate linen-blend lining covers the interior, creating a two-layer construction and adding contrasting color around the hood opening.
The long liripipe forms the main decorative feature at the back, while the broad cape gives the garment a flowing shape across the shoulders.
COLOR & CUSTOMIZATION
The pictured version combines a blue outer layer with dark red lining.
This hood can also be made in other color combinations. You can request a different outer fabric color, lining color, or a coordinated combination for your character, faction, or costume.
